Got a late start on the spearinglife this summer, but the weather has finally started looking up. Had a crew waiting back at the dock for a sandbar trip. Luckily the last spot of the day proved fruitful.

July 31, 2021 - Two weeks in a row

After enduring the windiest May and June I can recall in recent years, I actually got two good weekends in a row and I was able to make the most of them with a nice fatty black in the box.

July 25, 2021 - Finally, a break in the weather

After an incredibly windy May and June with what seemed to be permanent 15-20kt winds, I was finally able to take advantage of a calm day and get out for some dinner.
